Meet the artist behind Mir Valley Ceramics

(pronounced as Huh-nuh Meer)

I’m a first-generation Kashmiri American, born and raised in New York and now settled in Verona, New Jersey.

I discovered ceramics in 2017 and immediately fell in love with clay. Working with my hands and transforming a simple lump of clay into something beautiful and useful felt both grounding and inspiring.

What began as curiosity quickly became a true passion.

One of the greatest gifts of this journey has been finding a welcoming clay community that encourages and supports one another. Their generosity has helped shape this next chapter of my creative path.

Every piece I make is created with care and meant to bring beauty, warmth, and everyday joy into your home.
