Hannah Mir
I am a first generation Kashmiri-American, born and raised in NY and now settled in NJ.
In 2017 I tried ceramics for the first time and fell in love with clay. I loved how different it was and how it was the complete opposite of what I had been doing for so long. I loved getting my hands dirty and seeing how a simple lump of clay could be transformed.
This year I started teaching at a clay studio in South Orange, NJ called Indigo Road Studio. It's amazing to be in a collaborative clay studio where people encourage and celebrate each other's creativity. I’m excited to pursue this next stage of my journey!
